It will be fully open and operational for all attractions if all goes well
The official opening on 28th May 2011 was a significant milestone for RWS as many millions has passed through its gates, more to follow in tourist arrivals
The reopening of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA & newly MADAGASCAR crate is a boost to bring in the crowds during the summer holidays further
More to expect are the aqua attractions from now to year end, but the grandest of all is at december when the TRANSFORMERS enclosure opens, that is the topping of all to look out to
Many locals and neighbours and regional guests keep coming back and bringing their loved oones acrosss into singapore city, with more frills and overspills to engaged at, towards the prime in enjoyment and entertainment in town

- 10 October 2006 - Genting International and Star Cruises submitted its proposal, suitably named Resorts World at Sentosa to the Singapore government.
- 16 October 2006 - Genting International and Star Cruises unveiled its proposal "Resorts World at Sentosa".
- 8 December 2006 - Genting International and Star Cruises won the bid for the Sentosa IR.
- 16 April 2007 - Resorts World at Sentosa broke ground on 49-hectare site.
- 7 November 2007 - Resorts World at Sentosa announced that it will be adding six new attractions to its resort.
- October 2008 - Resorts World at Sentosa announced new Transformers attraction for Universal Studios Singapore.
- September 2009 - Universal Studios Singapore unveiled Far Far Away and Madagascar.
- October 2009 - Universal Studios Singapore unveiled attractions, dining options and merchandise outlets at Universal Studios Singapore
- 20 January 2010 - Soft Opening of Resorts World Sentosa

- Early February 2010 - Opening of Waterfront Station of Sentosa Express.
- February 2010 - Sneak Peak week for Universal Studios Singapore.
- 14 February 2010 - Opening of Resorts World Sentosa Casino.

- 18 March 2010 - Soft opening of Universal Studios Singapore with Pantages Hollywood Theater, Lights Camera Action, Battlestar Galactica, Accelerator, Revenge of the Mummy, Treasure Hunters, Canopy Flyer, Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure, Waterworld, Amber Rock Climb, Dino-Soarin', Shrek 4D Adventure, Donkey Live,Enchanted Airways, Magic Potion Spin and King Julien’s Beach Party-Go-Round.
- July 2010 - New Lake Hollywood Spectacular show on Friday and Saturday nights at Universal Studios Singapore.
- October 2010 - Opening of Candylicious, one of Asia's largest candy store.
- Late October 2010 - Opening of Waterfront Area.
- 25 December 2010 - Opening of Crane Dance.
- Spring 2011 - First year anniversary.
- 21 February 2011 - The re-opening of Battlestar Galactica after a technical glitch caused it to be closed just one week after opening.[7][8]
- 16 May 2011 - The scheduled opening of Madagascar: A Crate Adventure in Universal Studios Singapore. [10][11]
- Summer 2011 - Opening of Maritime Xperiential Museum.
- Autumn 2011 - The scheduled opening of Transformers: The Ride at Universal Studios Singapore.[12]
- 2012 - Opening of Equarius Hotel, Spa Villas and Marine Life Park.
- Before End 2012 - Opening of Stage 28 and another 4 new attractions at Universal Studios Singapore
Timeline
- 21 October 2008 – Transformers The Ride was announced to be a part of the lineup of attractions at Universal Studios Singapore and is set to open in 2011.[8]
- 24 September 2009 – Universal Studios Singapore unveiled their plans for Shrek's Far Far Away and Madagascar theme zones.
- 20 October 2009 – Resorts World at Sentosa unveiled the attractions, dining options and merchandise outlets at Universal Studios Singapore.[9]
- 14 February 2010 – The start of the eight-day sneak-peek period of Universal Studios Singapore.
- 18 March 2010 – The soft-opening of Universal Studios Singapore, with 16 of its 24 attractions opened and fully functioning.
- 25 March 2010 – The Battlestar Galactica dueling coasters were closed due to a technical glitch in the ride.[10][11] Both rides remain closed for many weeks thereafter.[12]
- 20 August 2010 – X-ray findings reveal cracks in the welded joint of the seat-post supports within the Human roller coaster car, which caused the grounding of both roller coaster rides.[13]
- 2 July 2010 – The premiering of the Lake Hollywood Spectacular show, which is presented to park visitors every Friday and Saturday nights.[14]
- 21 December 2010 – The Battlestar Galactica dueling coasters entered their final testing stage with newly reinforced coaster cars for both the Human and Cylon coasters. Both rides are slated to re-open in the first-half of 2011.[15]
- 21 February 2011 – The anticipated official re-opening of the Battlestar Galactica dueling coasters.[16]
- 16 May 2011 – The scheduled opening of Madagascar: A Crate Adventure.[17][18]
